TEXAS RANGER BADGE
This is one of our many styles of 1880s coin badges. In the early days of the wild west peace officers did not have the option of a commercially made badge. They would have their favorite gun smith make one for them. The Texas Ranger Badge was most often made from a Mexican 8 Reales like the one in the picture here. There are also U.S. Marshal coin badges made from Silver Dollars. We make them exactly like the originals were made. They are each one hand cut and hand stamped from a pre 1890s silver coin unless other wise requested.

We make the 1880s style coin badges or the security personal of the famous Luckenbach Texas Dance Hall. They are made from pre-1890 Morgan Silver Dollars. We also make U.S. Marshal badges from these old west silver dollars. We have made several for current officers and put their badge number on the front and their initials on the back.
